Welcome to

Welcome to the new North Georgia WX website! Everything is still under construction and changing, so please keep checking back for new updates. The plan is to share something unique here every day and to give you one place to go for all the weather information that you may need for North Georgia and the surrounding area.

A couple of unique features that I will have here will be sections for Video of The Week, a user submitted Picture of the Day, and daily webcam link. There will be a page or two that will be devoted to North Georgia (and surrounding area) weather conditions and forecast. If you need more in depth weather information, you can always find it at

The site will be the main landing page for all of my sites, so you will find bits and pieces of them all right here, and I have a few other future plans that will hopefully keep you coming back for more. :-)

My YouTube Channel

This section will take you to one of my YouTube playlist where you'll find all types of videos that I've created or found. I have lots of playlist so take a few minutes to puruse my channel!

My Live YouTube Stream (when active)

When the weather gets rough outside, I live stream one of my five webcams to YouTube and this is where you can find it. You can view all of my webcams as well as time lapse videos at this link at

Our Logo Artist - Melissa Mahoney

Melissa Mahoney Art
The colored swirl logo I use on my websites was created by artist Melissa Mahoney. Melissa grew up in a family of artists and received her formal art training at the University of Georgia where she earned a BFA. She went on to study art in Tuscany, Italy and now resides in Palo Alto California where she works with agents, galleries, home furnishing stores, and interior designers. She creates artwork that hangs in private residences, as well as corporate, public and private spaces. Melissa was my wife's big sister in the AXO sorority at UGA. You can visit Melissa's site by clicking on the image above or below.
